I was talking to a friend the other day about white male teenage rebellion. What is it that the white 13 year old boys of 2025 turn against, whether through outright rage or simple meme-mockery?

It turns out that the young men are raging against woke.

I remember that feeling from when I was a young man. That desire to make the most outrageous statement possible, just for a laugh. That thing of sitting with your friends and egging each other on. That hormone ratchet - who can think, say, or do the most extreme thing imaginable?

Of course, I didn’t have social media to contend with. For the young men of today, it seems, this inherently rebellious and extreme stage of life is magnified by the lust to perform your extremity in front of a a massive audience. 1 million views is a lot more tempting than 3 mates sitting around in a suburban bedroom.
